Our Club

Crowfoot Skating Club (CSC) is a not-for-profit, volunteer run organization dedicated to offering all levels of Skate Canada programs, from PreCanSkate to Competitive Figure Skating. Classes are conducted in a group format and are taught by Skate Canada coaches certified by the National Coaching Certificate Program. Coaching Assistants, trained by our professional coaches, help to deliver our programs.

Crowfoot Skating Club is a community-based club under the umbrella of the Calalta Community Figure Skating Club.

NEW - PLEASE READ! Helmet Use Policy
Effective July 1, 2011 Skate Canada requires all registered CanSkate participants, up to and including Stage 5, to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet while on the ice. Bicycle, multi-sport and snowboarding/skiing helmets are NOT acceptable. The use of hockey helmets is a mandatory Skate Canada policy and must be adhered to by all Clubs operating Skate Canada programs.

Locations and Programs

Skating programs are conducted in northwest Calgary as follows:

For addresses click here. The programs start at age 3. Participants are to be dressed warmly for classes including mitts or gloves. Approved CSA hockey helmets are mandatory for children under the age of 8 and for all registered CanSkate participants, up to and including Stage 5. The club does not provide any equipment other than teaching aids.
